Rubens Barrichello, a Brazilian former Formula One driver, had a long and successful career in the sport, debuting in 1993 with Jordan Grand Prix and competing in a record 322 Grands Prix before retiring. He is best known for his time with Ferrari from 2000 to 2005, where he played a key supporting role to Michael Schumacher during the team’s dominant years. Despite being restricted in his role, he secured 11 race wins, 68 podium finishes, and helped Ferrari win multiple Constructors’ Championships, finishing as runner-up in the Drivers’ Championship in 2002 and 2004. Post-F1, Barrichello found success in Stock Car Brasil, winning the 2014 championship, and remains a respected figure in motorsport for his technical skills and resilience.
